Q4 is here! One of the busiest times for many of us working in corporate. But, that shouldn't stop us from pushing our own agendas and achieving our own career goals. That's why I have created this Q4 challenge where over the next 6 weeks we're going to help you do less and impact more - and the most amazing thing is, we're going to do this all together!
This week is all about helping you be visible in front of the right stakeholders.
WHY STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT MATTERS
Stakeholder management is one of the most underrated skills for career growth, yet it’s one of the most powerful. The truth is, career success isn’t just about doing great work; it’s about making sure the right people know about it. Visibility and stakeholder relationships go hand-in-hand. You can’t grow your influence or get promoted if decision-makers aren’t aware of your impact or confident in your ability to deliver.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, your manager, senior leaders, cross-functional partners, helps you align your work with business priorities, gain advocates in the rooms you’re not in, and create trust that you can handle bigger opportunities.
And remember: stakeholder management isn’t just networking or self-promotion. It’s about strategic visibility, showing up intentionally in projects, meetings, and conversations that matter. When you consistently manage those relationships with clarity, communication, and confidence, you’re not just seen as a doer… you’re seen as a leader.
In short: managing your stakeholders well helps you turn your hard work into influence and your influence into promotions.
